For the 2011 Super Duty trucks, Ford has designed and will manufacture its own 6.3-liter Powerstroke diesel engine.

• Compacted graphite iron block and aluminum cylinder heads reduce weight by 160 lbs.
• Features include inboard exhaust system, single sequential exhaust turbocharger, 30,000-psi high-pressure fuel injection system and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) aftertreatment system
• Beefed up 6.2-liter gasoline V8 engine also available
• TorqShift six-speed transmission with live drive power take-off to power auxiliary equipment while idling and on the move
