Mapeband TPE 170 tape seals and waterproofs expansion joints as well as crack subject to considerable movement. Mapeband TPE 170 is 6.7 in. wide and 1/32 in. thick and reinforced with polyester, non-woven fabric for tensile strength and elongation properties, resistance to both atmospheric elements and temperature variations, industrial-strength waterproofing capabilities and crack-bridging properties for movement up to 3/8 in. Mapeband TPE 170 can be used with mapelastic two-component, flexible cementitious mortar for waterproofing applications.
