Quikrete's new 18 Hour Countertop Mix is a flowable, high-strength concrete designed for cast-in-place and precast concrete countertops. It contains a high-range water reducer and other additives to provide a low water/cement ratio, reduce the need for mechanical vibration and posses reduced shrinkage properties. The Countertop Mix is available in 80-lb. bags and reaches a compressive strength of 2,000 psi in 18 hours, 3,500 psi in 7 days and exceeds 5,000 psi in 28 days.
