The Ligno-DuoTec B from Lignomat USA measures the moisture in concrete to avoid floor covering failure. The meter works using two different methods: qualitative method uses the measuring pads of the meter to measure at 1/4" and 3/4"
depth; the quantitative method is regulated by ASTM standards. A relative humidity sensor is embedded into the concrete and senses the evaporation coming from the concrete. Once the correct level of evaporation has been reached, the floor covering installers can continue their work.
