The 185,120-lb. Zaxis 850LC-3 pairs a 532-net-hp (peak) Isuzu Tier III-certified engine with the HIOS III hydraulic system to increase engine output, as well as bucket and arm digging forces. Machine performance can be tailored to the job by selecting from three power modes. A cool-on-demand cooling system maintains peak performance, while reducing noise and saving fuel. The standard machine configuration includes a 14-ft. 5-in. arm, 29,321-lb. counterweight and 36-in. double grouser shoes. It sports a pressurized CRES II cab with a wider, more comfortable seatback, more foot room and 47% more glass on the right-side window.
