A critical factor with the Superpave^T Gyratory Compactor (SGC) is the angle of gyration during the compaction cycle. The Troxler DAV II with the Hot Mix Simulator (HMS) makes the process of verifying and adjusting the angle much easier and reliable.

Designed to ensure your existing gyratory compactors are working correctly
Works without mix (simulating mix properties) or can be used with hot mix asphalt; unit is the only internal angle measuring device that gives you the option of measuring angle with or without hot mix asphalt
Circuitry and mechanical parts are designed for the elevated temperatures encountered with hot mix asphalt and is charged by a long life replaceable battery
For use with hot molds
