Chomarat North America has added two new sizes to its lineup of C50 series carbon fiber grids. The C50 -- 3.5 x 4 and C50 -- 2.2 x 2.2 are designed with larger openings to make it easier to place large aggregate concrete mixes where a lower strength, more economical product is needed. Available in 500-yd. rolls in widths up to 102 in., the C50 -- 3.5 x 4 is ideal for lightweight precast concrete architectural cladding panels. The C50 -- 2.2 x 2.2 is idea for overlays, shotcrete repair and cast stone products. It will also be marketed as CT400, sold it 41-in. rolls of 25 yd. and ideal for the concrete countertops industry.
